The demonstration section of the Huangpu Supercapacitor Energy Storage Tram Line 1 has been opened ahead of schedule, enabling the recovery of more than 80% of braking energy.


On the morning of July 1, the demonstration section of Huangpu District's Tram Line 1 officially opened for trial operations, accompanied by the launch ceremony of the "Huangpu in Full Bloom" themed train at Lingfu Vehicle Depot. According to Li Xionghui, General Manager of Guangzhou Development Zone Investment & Transportation Group, the demonstration section effectively connects multiple community hubs, including Changping Village, Shantang Village, Qiangdong Village, Changlingju Primary School, and the Southern Chinese-English Bilingual School, significantly benefiting over 100,000 residents along Yongshun Avenue with improved transportation access.
